A Makeup MacGyver Moment, But Without the Mullet: Make an Improv Beauty Blender Sponge

Just something I figured out the other mean solar day when (surprise, surprise!) I couldn't find my Beauty Blender. I swear, one of these days I have to finally, FOR Skillful, straighten out my function.
Sigh…
So I'd merely finished applying Laura Mercier Flawless Fluide Foundation and needed to blend information technology out, just no Beauty Blender…and then I MacGyver-ed (yes, I but turned that into a verb) an improv Beauty Blender with a kabuki castor and some MAC Fix+.
Have a kabuki brush — and I'm using the Too Faced Retractable Teddy Comport Hair Kabuki Brush here — and spray it three or four times with MAC Ready+.
When I do this, I hold the bottle of Fix+ about viii inches away from the brush so the spray envelops the brush caput evenly, and yous desire to just dampen the bristles, not make them dripping, soaking wet. Adjacent, gently vitrify and blend your foundation and concealer on the skin using the dampened castor head and a circular motion.
That should take intendance of any edges and go out everything buffed out and most airbrush-caliber.
This is likewise handy if yous're going for an effortless, non overly "done" foundation look and realize, "Uh, oh! Where's my Beauty Blender?" Try it quondam! 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty aficionado,
Karen
